Business Software You Won’t Outgrow

Cost Competitive

The CAPITAL Business Management suite can be purchased in a variety of editions for various business sizes and budgets. Start with economical editions that don’t require management of sophisticated high end databases, up to editions that utilise fast and powerful SQL servers. Licensing involves a one off purchase without mandatory annual renewal fees. All Service Plans or upgrades, regardless of size, are competitively priced.

Why not MYOB, Xero or Quickbooks?

Such software has its place but if you need a more powerful and flexible solution, and you’ve outgrown smaller systems, CAPITAL Business Manager may be the right step up for you. Small systems tend to be inflexible, have limited functionality and customisability and can sometimes suffer from performance issues. If your business primarily ships products or is very service orientated, then smaller systems typically don't have the features required to let you run your business optimally.

Why not Competitors such as Pronto or Dynamics?

These systems can work very well for you, or you may have specialised needs that a particular solution does better than most of its competitors. If that's the case, then if you have the budget, such products will fulfil your requirements. However, we would suggest that the CAPITAL Business Management suite might be a better choice for your business based on power and flexibility alone, its modern interface, its impressive help system, its ease of use, and its low running and maintenance cost.

Not Integrated Accounting, Integrated Business Management

Far more than just accounting software, Business Manager integrates with Warehouse Manager for advanced warehousing and multi-bin stock control, and Sales Force Manager, a customer relationship management and business relationship management system. Many accounting programs provide a basic contact management capability, but CAPITAL software integrates powerful CRM with lead gathering and tracking, opportunity management (the ‘sales funnel’), case management ( ‘help desk’) and marketing campaign management. Most important of all, because our systems are totally integrated, your sales and service teams have full access to transaction history, special product pricing arrangements, and can raise orders, quotes and invoices without leaving their sales or service 'desk'. This can’t be done easily or at all with products such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft CRM or Sales Logix.

Adaptability is the Key

Yes, most systems these days claim to be flexible and provide certain customisation options such as report writing tools. However, there is no serious comparison with a system such as CAPITAL. Here's why: Screen & database editing tools to customise your master databases & their presentation. You can organise your data across multiple tabbed pages per record & even add images, website links & custom buttons. Tools to create your own custom databases that directly integrate into your core business system. Graphical ‘map’ editors for visual navigation of your system. Menu Editors for customising your own icon & tree views. Dedicated report writing tools. (Not third-party bolt ons.) Dedicated form & label design tools. Add, rename, remove or group reports by user. Customise the dashboard presentation per user, so they only monitor the information they need to see. Customisable list lay-outs in nearly all areas of the software. The ability to add your own custom column definitions to on-screen grids. An in-built scripting language called CBS (‘CAPITAL Business Script’) that lets you implement your own business rules.

Change The Rules To Suite Your Niche!

CAPITAL's scripting language: CBS (short for ‘CAPITAL Business Script’) allows you to change and control your software’s behaviour at its core. All customisations automatically carry forward with updates. CBS is stored in easy to work with text files. A small sample of possible uses for CBS include: Confirming which fields need to be filled in or what values are acceptable before permitting new accounts or transactions to be added to the database. Customisable reorder & top up rules for stock control. Flexible credit limit rules (i.e., allow customers to exceed their credit limits up to a specified maximum but only if they have no outstanding invoices overdue or have an acceptable average days to pay profile). Automatically add promotional items to orders and invoices if particular combinations or quantities of goods are bought. Freight charge calculations based on weight, distance, preferred time frame. Assigning discount pricing or tax categories based on specialised business requirements. Ensuring that only qualified/certified customers receive restricted goods.
