There are several ways you might do this.
1. Locate the file STOCK.DBF (your primary inventory file) using Explorer and drag & drop this file onto your Excel desktop icon. This should load the inventory file in Excel. Remove any columns you do not need.
CAUTION: Before making any changes, immediately save your spreadsheet under a different file name to ensure that you do not save the altered file back into your database, which would damage your data.
2. Use the Catalog Wizard if you have the Enterprise Edition or above, select the fields you want to export and click on the OfficeLink output option.
