At various times suspended transactions appear in the order file. Does anyone know what the list of reasons are that might cause this to happen?

1. A sales order may be suspended if a customer account has exceeded its credit limit, provided the software is set-up to take such an action. This is covered in the help topic: "Sales Order Installation Options"

2. If a open sales order is bookmarked, the transaction is suspended until the operator returns to the bookmark. (Press F11 from the main menu to present a list of bookmarked transactions and records, so that the operator can return to them.) If an operator lost their connection, and had to restart the system in a new session, they would be unable to recover their bookmark(s). The bookmarked transaction would typically stay bookmarked until the user connection count on the server dropped to zero (usually in the evening when users shut down). Any bookmarked transactions that were not returned to, would normally have their transaction numbers 'recycled' and the contents of those transactions would be lost.

3. Where an operator has manually changed the status of the sales order from "on order" to "suspended" and saved the transaction that way.

4. An order might be temporarily suspended if a user has reopened the transaction in order to edit its contents.
